This one intrigued me from the blurb even though the cover lacks anything inticing. The cover is classic historical romance for back in the day. The 1st printing of this book happened in 2003, and I was shocked to find out the copyright holder is none other than Sherrilyn Kenyon. I had no idea she had another Penn name.
Callie and Sin are the perfect enemies forced together for the good of the kingdom- both kingdoms. That’s right; they fight for the opposite side. Fighting is their profession. How on earth will they come together? It was an exciting ride, and I found myself laughing out loud. This story was almost perfect in the way Ms. MacGregor wrote it. I was hooked from the first scene, but the story doesn’t reside in my thoughts like some others, although it was very good.
So we give this well-written story 4 stars. Go forth and enjoy.
